MEYFL Weigh In – August 31st (In front of Platte County High School)

6:00pm – 7th grade
6:10pm – 6th grade
6:20pm – 5th grade
6:30pm – 4th grade
6:40pm – 3rd grade

Please plan to be at the weigh in at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your weigh in.

We will have a PCYFL table set up to collect birth certificates and physicals. Reminder – your child will not be able to participate in placement camp until we have received a copy of their physical. Also, if your child does not show up for weigh in, they will need to travel out of town to another MEYFL weigh in or they will be striped for the season.

After weigh in, the kids will start their placement camp. More details about placement camp location and times will be posted once the details are worked out.

The camp will be from 6:00pm to 8:30pm Sunday, July 17th through Tuesday, July 19th.  We received good news yesterday that the new turf has been completed on the high school field and we will be able to use the field for camp.

We will see you tomorrow night.

Friday, July 15th – 5:00pm to 7:00pm – The Running Well Store (Barry Road)

Saturday, July 16th – 7:00pm to 8:00pm – Behind the press box at Platte County High School football field

Pre-race activities begin at 8:15pm. Race starts at 8:30pm.

Just a quick reminder that we will be having our first sign up and equipment check out this Saturday, June 4th from 9am to 11am. Please check in next to the Pizza Hut in Platte City and we will send you down to the equipment hut to get your equipment.

Congrats to Don MacCuish and Troy Moore for having the winning slogans for 2016! The board couldn’t decide on just one, so we selected two winners and combined both of them into one. We will have shirts for purchase soon with the combined slogan.
