Team Liz 5k Walk/Run November 28th
Pirate Families,
It’s time to rally our Pirate Community and come out to support this event to help raise money for Liz Olsen and her family on November 28th.
Recently, Liz was diagnosed with a rare, incurable form of stomach cancer which has spread and is in stage 4 with no cure insight. Liz and her family have been actively involved in building the Platte County Youth Football League for 7+ years and continue to do so.
Please come out and join in raising money for Liz and her family, to help them during this difficult time financially and enjoy a good workout with other caring people in our community! The Walk/Run event will be held on Saturday, November 28th starting at 9AM. The event will kickoff at the Platte County High School Football Field
This event is a 5k Walk/Run. So if you are not a runner then you can walk as well. Additionally, If you’d like to help, but can’t participate in our Run/Walk you can make a donation to the Liz Olsen Benefit Account at any Platte Valley Bank location or mail it to PO Box 251, Smithville, MO 64089.
Donations can also be accepted on race day!
Registration: $20 until the 18th of November, $25 19th-27th of November and $30 on race day.
T-Shirts can only be promised if registered by the 18th, but we will be ordering some extras for later sign up.
